Privacy Policy

Overview

Ninja Music ("we", "the app") is a free music search and preview client. We respect your privacy: the app does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not run analytics or advertising trackers.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to our own servers. The app has no backend of its own.

Data stored on your device

The following is kept only in your browser's local storage on your device and can be cleared any time by clearing app data:

  • Your favorite tracks
  • Playlists you create
  • Recently played history
  • Theme (dark/light) and volume preferences

Third-party music sources

Ninja Music fetches search results, metadata, cover art, and audio streams from public third-party APIs, including JioSaavn, Piped (YouTube), and Apple iTunes previews. When you search or play a track, your device makes a direct network request to those services. Their own privacy policies apply to those requests. We do not control what those providers log.

Permissions

The app only uses network access to fetch music and metadata, and media-session APIs to show playback controls on your lock screen. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Content & copyright

All music, artwork, and metadata belong to their respective owners and are provided by third-party APIs. Ninja Music does not host any audio content. If you are a rights holder and want content removed from search results, please contact the upstream provider.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
